Hi everyone
I recently downloaded the source files for PDFSharp, which looks very powerful; I have not, however, been able to use it so far, for the following reasons: I work in Korea, on a computer equiped with WinXP in English + support for Korean language. Whn I open the project, I get lots and lots of errors, mostly related to symbols which are not rendered properly. I've tried switching to a full English + English setting, still not working
When I open the samples, VS 2005 tells me the "PdfSharp.dll" component cannot be found, and this is exactly my problem!! Where can I find this dll file? Due to my language problems, I can not compile it myself, and it doesn't seem to be included in the download package
Can anyone tell me how to do it, or be so kind as to provide the compiled PdfSharp.dll component??
Thanks in advance, looking forward to using this library...

Hello!
Sorry to hear that PdfSharp doesn't work.
It should work with English Windows XP and English VS 2005.
Which is your regional setting / location?
We use "German (Germany)", but "English (United States)" should also work. You should unzip the complete package after changing the location.
All samples include a reference to PdfSharp.csproj - so the PdfSharp.DLL will be created automatically.
Open the samples via "PDFsharp Samples.sln", don't open the sample projects directly.
I can e-mail the DLL anyway - either if changing the regional settings doesn't work or if you don't want to try that.
However I don't have time this month to try PdfSharp with different regional settings.
Please let me know if you try anything - either successfully or not. _________________ Regards

Hi there
Well, I confirm that the dll does not build itself automatically when opening through VS 2005, and that it's due to regional settings. but instead of messing with these settings, I've decided to give it a try with Sharp Develop 2.0 instead of VS 2005, and... it worked! I was able to compile the DLL with no problems, and have now started to use it in VS 2005.
Interesting, isn't it?!
Anyway, thanks for your support and congrats on this great project, it's really powerful!

Look here if you want to download the PDFsharp.DLL.
BTW: we can only try to fix the compiling errors if we know which errors occur during compilation (coz we only release versions that compile w/o error on our systems). _________________ Regards
