|
|
Hello all,
I am new to this tool, and had a quick question. I am working on a project now where I want to take a PDF, split it into 1 page documents, then generate thumbnails of each page. After that the user will have the option to combine the pages as they see fit.
I saw the code examples of splitting documents and combining documents, what I am wondering is, within the libraries of pdf sharp is there any way I could generate a thumbnail of the page? I would like to either be able to somehow generate the thumbnail on the fly (with no permanent file) or to generate it once (as say a jpg) and the load it into my SQL DB and store is as a binary ( for later display).
I hope that makes sense.
Thanks,
Chris. |

Hi!
PDFsharp can't do that, but you can create thumbnails with the Ghostscript API.
Look at the Ghostscript.Demo for an example of calling Ghostscript. _________________ Regards

Sounds good, will check it out. In advance, you know if there are any code examples in GhostScript of creating thumbnails?
Thanks for the reply,
Chris. |
