Hello people,
This is a brilliant piece of work, very useful for many purposes and thank you very much for providing so many samples with the downloads as well, it makes my life easier. I am developing an application currently on XP but I would like it to be used on Vista as well. I am using the Demo Viewer that was included in the download, I have adjusted it look to look more integrated with my application. However I have just noticed that the demo viewer does not work with Vista. I also found a details about this on the release notes pdf file:
dev/PdfViewer.Demo
Displays a PDF file in a window by using Adobe Reader or Acrobat as an ActiveX control.
This program does not work under Vista. If anybody fixes this please let me know!
Is there any way Vista users can also get the Viewer working? I think there might be something to do with stdole COM referencing is the reason for the issu but I am not very sure. Could someone please provide any work around if possible. |

Hello everyone
I have been using pdfSharp in my project for a while now and it seems the best choice of utility for many puposes. When I first downloaded the Utility the PDF Viewer utility was not working in Vista but recently it has started working and have no idea how this happened because I have not done anything.
So this reply is just tell that the PDF Viewer has started working for me in Vista and I am even more happier then before.
Thanks for developing such useful library.
