|
|
I have an application that takes a number of image files (.png) and generates a pdf file from.
We have no issue with small images (< 2mb), however, our color scans are reaching near 3mb.
One particular scan is 257 pages and must be done in color.
I receive an error when building the PDF file. If I cut the number of pages down, it works with no issues.
What is the maximum file size I can create with PDFSharp?
Are there any other constraints I should no about that could cause this besides size? Color depth? (although less numerous scans work fine) |

I think the limitation is neither file size nor RAM, but something around GDI+ or Windows or whatsoever.
I think the total size of all images is limited, but I don't know the limit nor do I know the limiting instance.
I don't know if a WPF build of PDFsharp also has this limitation (we haven't tried that yet). _________________ Regards
