I would like to use pdfSharp to introduce text comments in existing pdfs.

In VB I found how to write text over existing pdf page. However, I need the position of the text in the page to be indicated by the user.

For this a preview of the page would be needed and the position in the page where the user clicks to be retrieved.

1) Is it possible to preview existing pdfs using the PagePreview form? (similar to what XGraphicslab project does).

2) How to get the position of a point in the PagePreview that is clicked by the user.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Re: 1)
You can use eg. GhostScript to create image files from PDF pages.

Re: 2)
If you use image files created from PDF pages, you might write your own viewer that gives you the mouse clicks.
You have the source code of the viewer, therefore it's possible to add a handler for the mouse click events (if it doesn't exist yet); but you'd have to create a temporary PDF file to preview the images you created previously, so I think writing an own preview could be worth the time here.
